Temping and mouth breathing...

I breathe through my mouth when I sleep. I temped for the first time this am. AF is due tomorrow. My temp seemed really low: 97.1. Could breathing through my mouth affect my temps negatively?

PS: We also slept with the ceiling fan on cause we don't have a/c in our bedroom....

Is that what your normal temp is? Have you ever had your thyroid checked? (low-temps can be an indication of a thyroid problem).

breathing through your mouth, having the A/C on, or a fan or anything else like that shouldn't really effect your BBT.

You could have had a big temp drop because AF is due. I wouldn't start being concerned until you temp a full cycle and see where they are at. If they are really low, then you might want to see your doctor.

My temps never went above 98, usually at 96/97's prior and after O'ing. I don't think it would affect it too much. I always had a huge temp dip when AF was due.
