City Teachers Quality Review
I still have a headache from my grade meeting today where we were told about the obscene amount of paperwork we are expected to do. We have to do a monthly on demand task for each subject as well as our regular student assignments. Then they want an individual goal for all subject areas for each student that lists the deadline for the goal and how it was met....oh and the goals need to change every 2 weeks. So that gives me 224 rotating goals a month to keep track of!
Anyone else doing this?

Re: City Teachers Quality Review
We had a meeting about this the other day, I did the math, if I were to spend two minutes per student each month doing this it would take almost half a month worth a preps to complete. I guess they don't want us to plan lessons anymore .

And you know it takes a lot more then two minutes to develop an individual goal with them!

Re: City Teachers Quality Review
I am sure the goals are coming soon. We have to have a Task sheet for each board. WE have about eight of them. The Task sheet has to be typed and has to have the NYS standards and Common Core Standards. We are also getting a sheet that we have to attach to each student's work for comments. Let's be serious here.....it is all about the Jazz hands (the show). Nobody really cares if it is taking aways from planning time. AS long as it gets done and the Quality reviewers see it.

Exactly, so by the time I am done with one month I am going to have to start the next.

Re: City Teachers Quality Review
Yup and my school is TC school, so on top of this, I have to conference with each child on their writing and reading. Talk about never having any time to actually TEACH

How doyou post them? Pocket chart, bulletin board, clothesline?

On the bulletin board I used pocket folders and cut them in half. A side of one folder for each subject...science, ELA, Writing, Science and Math and labeled each accordingly
