Christmas Gift Rec for FIL? (Fantasy Rec?)
So we're doing secret santa with the ILs this year. I got MIL but I wanted to get everyone else something small- $15 or less. I wanted to get FIL a new book. He is a HUGE fan of fantasy books like Terry Goodkind's Legends of Shannara, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time, and George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.
I believe he's already read Lord of the Rings as well. Any other recommendations for books? He also really enjoyed The Millenium Series by Stieg Larsson. He's such a tough guy to shop for. He won't use a gift card or anything like that.  TIA!

Henning Hankell is supposed to be another great Scandinavian crime fiction writer. I'm hoping to get a few of his Kurt Wallender series for Christmas.

I've heard really good things about the Dragonrealm series by Richard Knaak. They are heavy-duty fantasy.

Thank you! I've actually been meaning to read this series. My brother read it and loved it, but it's a little too youthful for my FIL. (He won't read Hunger Games either.) But thank you!
