Funny Story
Last week DH was sick. He had a sinus infection, as did I. THe only difference was he stayed home from work for a FULL WEEK while I worked a full week plus overtime and waited on him hand and foot.  On Wednesday afternoon when I got home, he was being especially annoying and needy and we got into a little arguement. I went to bed early because I wasn't feeling well and left for work before he woke up. When I got home the next day, the dogs were being annoying- jumping on me, tripping me, whipping me with their damn tails- so I just said "God, you're so annoying, why don't you just go away?!" and they did. They went and laid on the couch and looked sad. So I did my usual after work routine and then sat on the couch next to my pit, Lucy, while DH sat on the recliner playing video games. I turned to Lucy and kissed her and said "I'm sorry I said you're annoying and told you to go away, I didn't mean it." DH turned around and said "I'm sorry, too, I know I've been really annoying this week."  I just let it go, but I was totally apologizing to the dog and not to him.   Whoops!

I can't even tell you how many times I say to DH "i'm not talkint to you.." or "hey, I'm talking to you.."..
