How many losses?

How many people have had more than one loss? Everyone keeps telling me that next time it will work out. I know there are women who experience only one m/c and I know there are women who experience more.

Some people have just one loss and go on to have healthy babies the next time around.. but others are more prone to losses.. it all depends.

This is my timeline:

August 2010: Loss at 17wks
January 2011: Chemical pregnancy
May 2011: Lost triplets close to 8wks
December 2011: Loss in 7th week

I had my first loss April 2011 at 8.5 weeks
My second loss was October at 9 weeks

I have since been diagnosed with a blot clotting issue ( anti phospholipid syndrome )

I've had 3 losses and been pregnant 5 times:
- Loss @ 8 weeks (no hb)
- Loss at 11 1/2 weeks (heard hb but loss due to Triploidy)
- Healthy pregnancy and baby:)
- Loss at 7 weeks (no hb)
- Pregnant again and praying it works out!
I've had friends that have had one loss then never have another and also friends with more than 1 loss.

3 losses..all early...i have never heard a heartbeat

6 total losses, all under 9 weeks. Not very proud of this record.

My timeline:

Aug 08: mc at 12w
Dec 08: mc at 9w (gen abnormality)
Nov 09: gave birth to healthy DD
April 11: mc at 6w
July 11: chemical
Dec 11: mc at 9w (ruptured uterus/Corneul pregnancy)

6 total losses, all under 9 weeks. Not very proud of this record.

1st loss was ectopic at 6w4d - 10/27/10
2nd loss was at 9 weeks 4/10/11
3rd loss was a chemical at 6 weeks 8/16/11

I had one loss in January 2011 and a second loss in May 2011

Although, I have read that when you have one loss, your chances of another one aren't too much higher than a woman who hasn't experienced a loss. Unfortunately, the more you have, the smaller that percentage gets.

it really is different for everybody. i have 2 friends that had m/c their first pregnancies and now they are both preggo again with healthy pregnancies. my timeline though has been:

2009: loss at 12 weeks
2010: ectopic at 8 weeks requiring removal of my right tube
2010: chemical pregnancy

we haven't had a pregnancy in 2011 which is ironic b/c i spent most of the year undergoing IF treatments.

4 losses total:

Sept 2009 - blighted ovum miscarriage with triplets (pregnant with quads and that pregnancy resulted in my DS)
Oct 2011 - miscarriage at 6.5 weeks, never saw heartbeat

Praying for no more losses (for all of us)

2 chemicals- 3/2011 & 11/2011

I've had four total losses. All of them were 6.5 weeks or earlier, and only the last one involved a D&C. The rest were all natural.

i had two very early losses.
first was a chemical that was barely even a pregnancy.. i was late and only knew i was preg from the beta (which was very low), all HPTs were negative. that was 3/10

second loss was a mc at 5w (although we never got past the second beta), 5/10.

gave birth to my DD 5/11.
