Getting the dog groomed in the winter...
I was going to try and hold off on getting Charlie groomed this winter because I don't want her to be cold with short fur.
She gets really scruffy looking in the winter, and we just left it that way last winter. But this summer I fell in love with how she looked with short hair...like such a puppy.
Anyway, I finally broke down and made an appt to get her groomed, which will be tomorrow. Do I just have them clean up her face so that her hair isn't in her eyes, brush her fur, and trim her nails? Or do I let them cut her fur shorter all over?
I don't want her to be cold on our walks, but we also have sweaters that I have crocheted for her. Her fur is so much nicer when it is shorter!

With the weather being this mild, i would get the short cut for now and use a sweater.
I usually get my dogs short cuts around now and just no short cut again until about March. They just get too matted if I dont.
