Yarn Shops?

I always buy yarn at either Michael's or AC Moore. It is convinient and they always have coupons.

But as I get better at crocheting I'd also like to experiment with making some nicer items with nicer yarns.

I was going to stop in at the yarn shop on main street in Farmingdale today on the way home from a playdate and they were closed! I was so dissapointed! It was the only yarn shop I knew about.

Where are there other yarn shops in the Nassau County or Western Suffolk County area?

Re: Yarn Shops?

I think that yarn shop actually moved. On Hempstead Tpke, Just west of Meritts Road on the south side just under the RR tracks, there is a strip of stores. On the end is Dunkin Donuts and one of the stores, in there is Infinite Yarns, which I think, but could be wrong, is the one that was on Main Street.

OOK I know the exact shopping center you are speaking of! I will drive by tomorrow and take a look! That would be GREAT and even closer to my house then the other store was!
