If I hang my baby's blanket, will the yarn yellow?
I'm just wondering if I need to do anything special to a knit blanket to hang it. TIA!

I don't know the answer but I have some thoughts.
What colors are in it? If it does yellow, can that kind of yellowing be washed out of it? Paper turns yellow and breaks down because of the acid content. Maybe there is a way you can find out if there is something similar with yarn. Also, there is a spray you can buy to prevent that from happening to paper. Maybe there is something similar out there, if it is even needed.

This is what I would be afraid of. Perhaps you can sew it to a backing so that you are hanging it from the backing and not from the yarn.
