Looks like that white van is back again
Ugh, someone posted a few weeks ago about the white van approaching kids in Wantagh. I just saw this on news12:
(01/06/12) BELLMORE - Police are warning Bellmore residents after they say someone tried to lure a teenage girl into a van.
Officials say the Mepham High School student was walking on Pea Pond Road Wednesday when the driver of a white van asked the girl if she wanted a ride.
The school notified police and it's advising students to walk in pairs at all times.

Why cant they catch this perv already? This has been going on for 2 years! It really scares me that this keeps coming up. It makes e wonder if this person has been successful and there is a child(ren) out there that is not saying anything because she is afraid.

We got a call from DS's school about a black Honda civic with a similar looking guy trying to accost a high school student. It is so scary. I highly recommend the Safe Side DVD for your younger kids-makes them aware of the different kinds of people out there.

Has there been a description of the driver at all? I saw this white van driving near my house the other day. He was driving all weird but in a way that made me think something was wrong that even after I passed his van - I kept looking back to see if he'd stop somewhere and I even made sure to look at the driver. It could have been someone looking for an address or lost but being it was a block from Bellmore's Kennedy hs - now it freaks me out.
