Dear Lady in the White Mini-van
behind me at the traffic light at the intersection of 25A and Waterside Road in Northport . . .
Yes, I was making a left turn. No, I was not about to pull up into the "box" so you could go around me. Yes, I saw all your obnoxious hand gestures. Yes, I always sit behing the line because my DH's best friend died 3 years ago this month when some arsehole ran a red light and slammed into his car while he sat in the box waiting to make a left turn.

I feel like this is a very confusing/dangerous intersection. People come flying down 25A from the east and the lanes are not marked well. Which lane do you get in to go north on Waterside from Vernon Valley? No matter which lane I get in to go straight, I end up competing with someone going straight in the opposite lane.
People are jerks
