Anyone else torture themselves like this?
DH and I just moved to a bigger place and one of the bedrooms have already been reserved for a nursery when the time comes.
The thing is that we put my old rocking chair in there (used to be in storage) and now I can't help going in there and just sitting and thinking. I would have made 12 weeks tomorrow and my beta levels are now at 85 so I'm still not fully done with the ectopic pregnancy.

Re: Anyone else torture themselves like this?
I've had times like that. We moved my older DS into a new "big boy" room to be able to have the nursery for the new baby. I bought the double stroller. We were looking at bedding and all of that stuff.
Sometimes I go into the nursery and can't help but think about what's missing. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about my second DS and what should have been.

Re: Anyone else torture themselves like this?
In my old house, I had that problem, too. I used to avoid the "nursery". Now I keep the handful of maternitybclothes, baby clothes and toys that were bought waaaaay out of siht. Like in the closet in a closed garbage bag under the Christmas decorations. I hate seeing any of it.
I'm so sorry you are going through this.

Re: Anyone else torture themselves like this?
Our extra bedroom has never been made into a guest room because it is the room that will be the nursery. Right now it is empty but hopefully not for long! But yes, I am reminded/tortured of it often as we iron in that room every day.
