Need advice, my mornings with my 3.5 year old are TORTURE!~!!!!!
We need to leave the hosue by 6:15 and i a hvae 3.5 year old and a 2 year old. My 2 year old is fine. My dd at 3.5 is another story. The way it worked was I woudl get myself ready while dh got my dd ready and then i woudl get my ds when I was ready and it was working out fine. Well recently my dd cant seem to get up.I feel like I have a teenager rather than a toddler. She doesnt want dh to get her ready anymore, everything is a fight. She refuses to pee when she gets up and I have given up on that and she goes as soon as we get to teh sitter at 645. Then its a batle for her to her to get her shoes and coat on and then for her to carry her own schoolbag down the stairs.
I know she is tired and I know its very early. I put her to bed between 730-8 everynight. I dont know what else to do. Is this a phase?

Can you put her to sleep earlier? Seems like she needs more sleep.

its hard because her brother doenst go to bed until 715-730 and she always wanst to go to bed after him. Also my dh doenst get home until 630-645 and he wanst to see her. If he is not home like last night when he had a ranger game i had her in bed earlier and it really didnt help but it was only a few minutes earlier not like an hour earlier.I have to try that i think.

Re: Need advice, my mornings with my 3.5 year old are TORTURE!~!!!!!
I am praying this is a phase. My almost 3 year old is doing some similar things and all that comes out of his mouth are 'no' or 'only mommy'. DH has been pretty firm with him and manages to get some things done but what I have resorted to is full on planning the night before (laying out clothes, etc) and then using a timer with him for each task.
So I'll tell him...you have two minutes before we have to get your shoes on...put the time on (sometimes for only one minute ) and when it goes off the shoes have to go on. If he cooperates with the timer each time the whole time he gets a little treat on the way to school (a couple m&ms or something like that).

She could be tired. What if while you put your son to bed have your husband read a book to her. And when the story is over time for bed. That way she has her Daddy alone time & goes to bed after her brother.

What if you asked the sitter to get her dressed? Just put her in the car in her pj's and put her school bag in the car the night before. I know it's not optimal but it's better than the daily battle.
