OKAY- here's how it all went... very LONG
well dh finally come home and i heard him pullling iup the street, he said he walked slowly up the walkway looking at the stuff hanging on the front door... he opened the door and said really?... your not f%&#@n around? I said no... then he goes really.... then he said i've been waiting to her that all day (since i talked to him that he wanted to striaght to the bar) - i have it all on video..then i showed him all the tests and stuff.. we just both sat down and had a nice moment together...
then we went to the ILAWS house and gave my MIL a plaque that had grandmas & grandpa's house on it.. and she didnt get it at first and said ohhh how nice... then my SIL said wait... ARE YOU????? then we said yes... and everyone jumped up and hugged & cried... it was such a amazing moment.... then we went out to dinner... and my MI kept saying wow this is sooo exciting i'm gonna be a grandma!!
sat am we went by my parents house to tell them.. we planned on telling them sat night at a family party bu then we decided to tell them alone so they could enjoy the moment better....
i gave my mom a plaque that said Nana's kitchen... and my mom said ohh how nice... and looked at me.. and said are you trying to tell me something... i said yes... she dropped the plaque and grabbed her face ans started crying then jumped up and grabbed me hugged soooo tight and was almost sobbing in my shoulder.... it was very nice... my dad was just smiling and shook my DH's hand.. he's really not a man of words so i didnt expect much from him but you could tell he was happy.. my mom told me later that night the my dad called his best friend and said "i'm gonna be a grandpa!!" i had tears in my eyes.. i knew he was happy and hearing that comfirmed it for me & dh.
later that night we went to the family party and told me sister, that day i was looking for some things that said aunt but i couldnt find anything and i started to get really tired out shopping so i gave up and bought a baby type gender specific frame... i printed out something that said "see you in 9 months Aunt *******" with a picture of the psotive pregnancy test she cried and said really? another nice moment
we werent gonna tell anyone but they had karake at the party and dh had the dj put on the screen " congrats * & * on their new addition..... and everyone started screaming and running over to us... so all my aunts and cousins know as well
I know we are really early in the pregnancy and shouldnt have told everyone already.. but we are a really close family and we just couldnt keep it in.....
it was really a fantstic weekend....... one we will never forget...
now... just waiting to blood test on wed.....

Wow, that was a wonderful!!
Reading the part about your dad calling his friend to tell him that he is gonna be a grandpa bought tears to my eyes. I cant wait to be able to tell my family that I am pg, especially my dad. he is such an emotional person and I know he is praying for this day.
