Hi, my name is Meaghan, and I'm....
... officially an book addict.
Not that there was ever a doubt about this.
But I'm a fast reader and when I find a book, especially a series (I'm a sucker for a good series!!) that I like I'm a goner.
I discovered the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning and I've read the first 3 books since Friday night. That's right, over 1100 pages in less than 3 days.
I think I have a problem......

I feel ya. When I pick up a good series, it's a marathon till I'm at the end. I've been know to forsake sleep and give my children away for sleepovers for a good book. Nobody else I know gets it. I'm glad you do

The Fever Series is junk food... excellent junk food, but junk food just the same. i love it

I'm the same way. All I can think about all day is when I'll get a chance to read. Every night I say I'm going to go to bed early and I end up reading every night until at least midnight. Especially when I get to the last 100 pages or so of a book. I can't put it down.
I stopped to get gas today and pulled into a full serve place. I was so excited that I could read for a few mins while the guy pumped my gas.

Same here. I started reading the Anita Blake series on Thurs and Im on the 4th book now. There are 20 in the series I will probably be done by the middle of Feb.
AND love the Fever series. Can't wait to her new series comes out in June...its Dani's story.

Many Kindred spirits! Once I get my hands on a series.. I don't come up for air until its finished!!
This past summer vacation was 9 days - I read all 17 of the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Ivanovich....granted, they are a quick read, but poor DH got little attention!

I'm right there with you guys! DH hates to give me books for gifts (although he does it all the time) because I tear through them. I read the first 6 Harry Potters (7 wasn't out yet) in a week. All of Twilight (and Midnight Sun) in a day and a half. Hunger games in a weekend (only because it was thanksgiving weekend and we had somewhere to be every day). The one that is taking me the longest is A Song of Ice & Fire (Game of Thrones series). But im also reading other things at the same time.
