The science of it all..
Do you ever feel like TTC is one big science project? For ex, this month, we BD during O week a few times. My DH just had his surgery to remove the blockage so things were a lot different but in a good way no, not that way, just our chances are better - lol.
I am supposed to get AF this week. I keep thinking, well, I know I O'd, I know DH did his part, what could go wrong? It's one big experiment!!!

Yes, I felt that way too. It got to the point where we didn't even enjoy it anymore (I was trying for 14 months).

Re: The science of it all..
I never thought I would get involved in all the science of it...figured we would just go off bc and it would happen...unfortunately now I have thermometers and OPK kits running my life in the mornings...
oh well...if its a means to an end...

Re: The science of it all..
I didnt think it would come down to it. What I think about is how easy it is for some (especially the young unwed teen mothers at the mercy of a variety of social services) and how hard it is for others (especially the older well-established women who can afford to give their kids the world). We've only been trying for two months so we will have some time before we decide to go the route of temping/charting but I really dont want to. The more "interventions" I think to use, the more stress it puts on the both of us.

Re: The science of it all..
We try not to get to technical about it. After we got so lucky the first time and then so devestated when it ended in M/C it is tough to stay that way, but I don't think stressing ourselves out is going to be extremly helpful.
