Restaurant for skirt steak?
Once again my dad is craving this for his bday dinner. Any good recommendations? (Not TOO fancy since I will have 2 little ones with me lol) We went to Frank's Steakhouse last year so looking for spme place different. Anywhere from Dix Hills to Massapequa-ish. Thanks!

I had a good marinated skirt steak at Grillfire in Merrick. Nice atmosphere & there were kids around. It's definitely not a steakhouse though.

Argentinean Restaurants are known for their skirt steaks they are called "Churrasco" (sp?) ...sorry don't have any recommendations.

I know you're going to laugh and it's not for a birthday but the diner by Cedar Creek Park has the best skirt steak (Romanian steak) huge portion for 2.
Franks is good
The sides are typical steakhouse.
I'm having SS on a salad tonight w gorgonzola!
