Reward Jar
For those who use/used a reward jar, can you explain to me the rules you had (adding for good behavior - what things are considered good (how lenient were you), did you take away for bad behavior, what were the rewards and when?, etc.)? Was effective to change some bad behaviors you may have been having?
Also, if you had more than one child, how did you handle that? Esp if one is more well behaved than the other. I feel like right now one child would be filling the jar quickly and the other would be reaping the benefits. I don't want 2 jars though because that would create competition and as it is now the less behaved child takes out his issues on the other sibling.

Re: Reward Jar
I haven't started mine yet, but here is one I have read about.....
Get 2 jars and put a smiley face on one, frown on the other.......And another jar to store the marbles
You can mark the jars at different levels with lines (each symbolizing a reward of sorts, the higher the mark, the bigger the reward) I guess for the frown face jar, you could also mark it with loss of a privledge
When the child does something "good" you place a marble in their happy jar....If the child breaks a rule etc, you take a marble from the happy jar and place it in the sad jar...
