neck pain

I had a deep tissue massage last saturday and since sunday morning I have had awful neck pain and noticed i have a soft/squisy lump between my neck and shoulder on that side. The pain comes and goes and i keep getting spasms in the area. I have tried heating pads but nothing is helping. Should i go to the dr? should i be worried?

I wouldnt be *too* worried but if it persists I would see your pcp, especially i it wasn't done by a medical professional, just to be safe. I get medical massages for a neck injury, and the girls at the nail salon sometimes actually hurt me.

You might just need a new masseuse
