I don't poop as much
A little less than a month ago, I started a pretty strict 1200 calorie diet. I have limits on daily calorie intake as well as carbs, fat and protein. I also try to workout 2-3 times a week.
Since I started, I don't poop as much. Does this mean I'm burning a lot of what I eat? I used to go everyday, but now it's more every other day. Sometimes a bit more than that.
Anyone know? Is there something wrong with me? I was never SUPER regular, but this is a lot different than what I'm used to. Should I work some Activia into my diet? Where's Jamie Lee Curtis when you need her...

Re: I don't poop as much
Sometimes when you reduce calories things tend to slow down. Totally normal.
I don't think it means you are burning a lot, I think it means there is less to go through you and thigns are slower moving. Make sure you are having enough fiber in your diet and if it gets really bad and uncomfy you can take a supplement like citrucil to help!

No problem! I'm not a doctor, but this is what I have noticed and experienced myself!

Re: I don't poop as much
You probably need to incorporate more fiber into your diet. I have to make sure I get my full full of fiber (50% from a bowl of fiber one in the morning and then the rest from various things throughout the day) or I have this problem. Coffee helps too
