menu thread 2-24 I know it's early...
but I'm making my shopping list and menu for the week so I figured I'd put it up. I'm going to try a few of the recipes I found on Pinterest this week.
Tonight- Pizza night
Sat.- take out
Sun- homemade chicken noodle soup with locatelli cheese
Mon.- Crockpot smothered pork chops, pierogies and roasted asparagus
Tues.-Panko crusted salmon with dill sauce, spinach, and roasted potatoes
Wed.- Baked sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, steamed brocolli
Thurs.- Pasta with bolognese sauce and ricotta
Fri- Sushi at Kotubuki

Tonight: hopefully out for greek food
Sat: sexy joe's (healthy version of sloppy joes)
Sun: not sure yet, doing something for the oscars, maybe finger foods
Mon: Buffalo Chicken Chili Mac
Tues: breakfast for dinner (bagel, scrambled eggs with veggies and cheese, breakfast sausage)
Wed: maybe pizza
Thurs: ON VACATION!

Creamy Brussels Sprouts Gratin
Saturday: Leftover Meatloaf with Burnt Broccoli
Sunday: Cheese Fry Chicken
Monday: Sausage, Peppers and Rice
Tuesday: Mayo Chicken with Zucchini Parmesan Crisps
Wednesday: Tuna Puttanesca
Thursday: Slow Cooker Chicken with Roasted Root Vegetables
Friday: Penne with Bolognese Sauce and Sauteed Spinach
Saturday: Leftovers

Monday- pasta and lentils
Tuesday-Balsamic Chicken drumsticks with broccoli slaw
Wednesday- Pot Roast with garlic mashed potatoes
Thursday- Chicken stir fry with vegetable fried rice
Friday- salmon burgers?

Sure. I haven't tried either yet but they both sound good and are supposed to freeze well.

For the crescents, I read a bunch of the reviews and plan to cut down on the cream cheese and add some chopped spinach to the filling.

Thursday: ST Baked Chicken with Dijon and Lime and Burnt Broccoli
Friday: Slow Cooker Chili
Saturday: Birthday Party
Sunday: Dijon Lime Chicken Leftovers
Monday: Chili Leftovers
Tuesday: Penne in ST Bolognese Sauce and a Mixed Green Salad
Wednesday: Bengali Shrimp Curry, Basmati Rice, and Peas

Tuesday: Steak, Broccoli with Lemon, Baked Potatoes with sour cream.
Wednesday: Chicken Francaise, Burnt Broccoli, Brown Rice
Thursday: Pork Roast, Saurkraut with onions and beer, Green beans, Roast Potatoes
Friday: Seared Cod, Roasted Tomatoes, Sauteed Spinach, Wild Rice
Saturday: Sloppy Joes on toasted buns, Handcut french fries

Sat: We're out at an Italian Restaurant for a Party, the kids are having Eggplant Parm & spaghetti
Sun: BBQ Marinated Skirt Steak, Hasselbeck or Crash Potatoes, and tomato & cucumber salad
Mon: Oven Roasted Chicken & Pilaf with steamed mixed veggies
Tues: Spaghetti with Meat sauce, garlic bread & salad
Wed: Chicken Fried Rice with tons of Asian Veggies
Thurs: Leftovers
Fri: Out

Mon: Zucchini parm, linguine, salad and garlic bread.
Tues: Leftovers.
Weds: BBQ cheddar chicken, rosemary roasted potatoes, peas.
Thurs: TJ's chili lime burgers, garlic fries, southwestern salad.
Fri: Homemade grandma pizza and caesar salad.
Sat: B-day party.

Tues: turkey cutlets milanese, garlicky spicy brussel sprouts, rice
Wed: lentils with spinach over orecchiette
Thurs: veal stew with carrots, potatoes and zucchini
Fri: homemade pizza night: veggie and margherita.

Sun -- Chicken thighs with a balsamic glaze, herb butter rice, roasted asparagus
Mon -- Breaded cheesy chicken cutlets, leftover herb butter rice, roasted zucchini
Tues -- Whole wheat penne with chicken and asparagus in marinara
Weds -- Baked bone-in chicken breasts with crispy skin, wilted garlic spinach, baked sweet potato
Thurs -- Pork chops, possibly breaded, roasted asparagus, starchy side
Fri -- Something with shrimp, TBD, or pizza
