anyone know of a breeder of Yorkie-poos?

we decided after a month or two of looking around thats the puppy we want. We arent in a rush, we want to make sure we find a good breeder, plus we are moving to a different apt probably, would like to be settled there first.

I had gotten reccomendations for two breeders located in the mid west but there prices are SO different it makes me wonder why.

One had puupies for $450 plus $250 shipping and the other was $800 plus same shipping...seemes like a big difference?!?!?

well, my friend bought a Yorkie fom a breeder and was wondeirng why it was only $400....... it turned out to be a Yorkie-Poo.

eta: you're not gonna hvae an easy time finding one b/c it isnt a breed. To be honest, anyone who IS "breeding" them I would question. They would probably be a backyard breeder just in it for teh money. As there is no other reason to be breeding two different breeds together..... I think you would be better off finding someone who had a Yorkiepoo on mistake or somethign. Like, Petfinders would be the best place to get a dog like that.
I am sorry, I just trust no "breedeR" who is mixing breeds. The whole point of breeding is to better the breeds standard. Which you can not do with a mixed breed.

By all means I am not trying to discourage you fom getting a Yorkiepoo.. just be careful with the people you are getting them from b/c I am sure 90% are shady.

there is a difference in price because it's not a standard breed and therefore there is no "competition" so to speak. No one knows what to charge for a "mixed breed"

lol yeah i fell in love with that Yorkie -Chi mix too. I just HAD to post her anyway.





eta: i wanted to add b/c i know i had mixed breed pups. It was an accident when it happened and I have since fixed Lukin. I did charge a fee of $300 planning on being talked down to $250. $250 is a fair price to me b/c puppies cost ALOT!!!! If teh pups come with all shots (meaning you would have them at like 12 weeks old) then alittle more of a fee is permissable of course. Puppies should not have shots before they are 8 weeks old.

Some of thebreeders we have looked into are HUGE breeders, and very very well known. They were recomendations from friends who got purebreeds, but I still am unsure, and I wanted to find one I was 100% positive about. They all come with health guarentee's and all, plus we are still hesitant.

We love the yorkie poo so much!
