Amanda Hocking
So, I've read a few of her books, thanks to the recommendations of you here on this board. I really enjoyed all of her books and after googling her (looking for more reading material!) and reading this article about her, I love her books even more! They basically say how she became a pioneer of the digital era by self publishing her own e-books after being rejected by so many publishers. I found it so interesting and thought some of you might, too! Enjoy!
Article.

I was reading her bio on her blog and found her annoying, too. I kept at things she was saying. But the story of how she came to be fascinates me.

what an amazing story! I used to work in Publishing and it would really blow me away at the dedication some authors would display just to get an editors attention. My heart used to break from some of the authors.
Good for her, this article def made me interested enough to read one of her books but I dont have a digital reader.

She's actually signed with a publisher now and most (if not all) her books have been printed now. They're worth a read. I just finished reading Hollowland and I really liked it. This was my favorite of her books in fact!
