Whoopie Pie Filling (NO Fluff!)
Does anyone have a good recipe for whoopie pie filling? I don't want any recipes using marshmallow or fluff since that's not REAL whoopie pies.
I had a great recipe and I can't for the life of me find it!!!! Grrrrrrr!

Milk, shortening, flour, vanilla, sugar.
Equal parts of the milk, shortening, and sugar. About 3-4 T of flour.. beat to the right consistency. Vanilla to taste.

why would anyone use fluff in a whoopie pie???
I have one of those cookbooks at home where people submit recipes and they sell them for charity. its from Maine, so the recipes are legit. And good. I'll try to remember to write one down for you later.

THANK YOU! That's what I said! But 9 out of 10 recipes I found online called for fluff! And the other one was cream cheese!
I kinda winged it last night. I remember my recipe used butter and shortening and corn syrup instead of milk so I just went with it. Came out awesome.
