Hungry ALL the time???
I have been on a healthy/low calorie diet for almost 4 months now combined with a workout regiment. It has been working great, I've been eating mostly clean and keeping track of macros too. This has worked for me for almost 4 months in terms of weight loss and feeling satisfied. But this last week, without doing anything to change my diet, I am ravenous! I am still eating every 2-3 hours, the same types of foods, but now I am just getting VERY hungry much quicker....and am not satisfied by the same amount of food. I guess I HAVE increased my workout intensity a bit, but that started 3.5 weeks ago and this is just the past few days. I normally stick to about 1300 calories a day but lately I just can't, it's been closer to 1500-1600. I don't want to regress or screw up my progress but I'm just SO hungry! Like to the point sometimes of being shaky, even if I've eaten a couple hours before! Any thoughts/suggestions??

Muscle is more metabolically active than fat so by building lean muscle you may have increased your basal metabolic rate. If you are hungry eat just make good food choices. I find eating protein and carbohydrate together helps me to feel full longer.

I find my good fats keep me fuller too!

Thanks ladies! I'll try pairing protein and carbs and keeping an eye on my fats. I'll also just go with what my body tells me and try to eat good foods. I'm worried I won't see more loss this way but I guess I'll just have to try it and see!
