I'll begin with, I tend to over cook and always have leftovers.
I would make:
50 burgers 60 hot dogs tray of pulled pork (would use hamburger buns instead of slider size) 1/2 tray of sausage and peppers 1/2 tray of chicken fingers
Tray of salad Tray of pasta Salad (6-7 lbs pasta) Tray of corn
I would skip the french fries

For the burgers and hot dogs, I usually do 1.5 per person, so I'd get 75 burgers and 75 hot dogs.
As for the other stuff...I'm not really sure. I tend to waaaay overbuy!

Re: if you cooked your own food for a party at your house...
um i would probably make
30 hot dogs 30 hamburgers 1 tray of pulled pork 1 tray sausage and peppers 1/2 tray chicken fingers
1 tray garden salad 1/2 tray pasta salad 1 tray corn on the cob 1 tray of fries
and that's it
honestly, if you make enough for everyone to have a hamburger, a hot dog, a slider, sausage and peppers, a chicken finger, salad, pasta salad, corn and fries, you're looking at like 2 heaping plates of food per person-that's a TON of food..not everybody could even imagine eating that much..i would probably have a burger, half a scoop of sausage/peppers, and a half ear of corn, and still not finish that all
plus if you have kids they don't eat as much

I agree with this.. except I'd skip the fries completely and I'd add a tray of potato salad. I'd also have a crudite and some chips or maybe some chicken skewers or shrimp cocktail before the meal. And I'd add Fresh Fruit to the menu to accompany the bday cake.

I agree with Jeannie's tweaks. also, I wouldn't cook all that meat as once, maybe do 15 franks and hamburgers and the rest as needed.
ETA: I would also skip the chicken fingers.

Re: if you cooked your own food for a party at your house...
I'd have at least a hamburger and hotdog per person. I see some suggestions above of making 30 for a 50 person party. You don't have to make them all at once, but at least have them available to make if needed.
We went to a BBQ and DH and I were helping the hostess cook the food, put everything out, get everything ready - so therefore we were one of the last people to make a plate. I was annoyed that I got screwed out of getting a hot dog and hamburger because I was helping the hostess. We asked the hostess if there were more we could make and she said no, while she sat and ate her hamburger. We had to sit there and eat baked ziti at a BBQ.
And now everytime we go there, the jokes start in and we talk about how we will make sure we will actually get BBQ at the BBQ.

Re: if you cooked your own food for a party at your house...
For 30 people I made:
2 trays each of baked ziti, Mac and cheese 2 tray of meatballs w. Sauce 1 tray pulled pork 1 tray chicken wings
Burgers Dogs Corn Potatoes Mac/potato salad
No one ate the corn or potatoes or macaroni or potato salad
I had 1 tray each left of ziti, Mac n cheese and meatballs
Too much for 30 people
Eta Jackie no one really ate the buns I put out for the pulled pork at all
