Cravings help
I have made tremendous progress in th last yer. I have lost 130 pounds since January 2011. Due to my weight loss I am no longer considered diabetic. I have been maintaining great blood sugars without insulin or pills. The problem is I'm at a plateau in weight loss and have significant cravings. All I want is carbs, cheese and chocolate. I really should be on a vegan/ low gluten diet due to allergies but I can't seem to let go. Any suggestions on how to curb cravings? Wold something like a cleanse help? I have recently increased my walking. I try to walk at least 3 miles a day. I need to loose a lot more weight. Should I focus more on exercise?
Thanks

Re: Cravings help
I am on a gluten free diet and it has changed my life. If you have a gluten allergy/intolerance you should really give it up. There are TONS of good gluten free foods (carbs, cheese and chocolate included). I was told I had IBS 15 years ago...since I gave up gluten ALL of my "IBS symptoms" have disappeared. If you have food allergies and you continue to eat food that you are allergic to it can lead to stomach bloating., etc.
It would probably be helpful for you to consult with a nutritionist since it sounds like you have a few health issues (food allergies & diabetes).
