I'm sooo sorry, and do agree with everyone, you should demand another ultrasound before the D&C, even if it's for peace of mind.

At 5w I was pregnant with twins...at 6 weeks there was only 1 heart beat...at 7w6d I went back in for blood/sono and the hcg was only 200 higher and there was NOTHING showing on an ultrasound...no heartbeat no baby...I was devistated, that was a Tuesday.
I scheduled my D&C for thursday morning... they retested my HCG and did another sono prior to D&C ...
THANK GOD!!! turns out the lab screwed up my blood work and I have a retroverted uterus so when they pushed down with the utlrasound and did the TVS my entire uterus flipped and they found the baby...
DEFINITELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, ask for another sono prior to D&C...just to make sure...anything is possible

They didn't say. The OB just told me that the hematomas indicate that it's splitting.

I am so sorry. Like some of the pp said feel free to fm me anytime....I've been through this twice as well. I would suggest asking your obgyn to do the recurrent miscarriage panel- at least bring it up.

I had 2 mc's in the same amount of time as you so I know how you feel. It's so hard but you do get through it all. Try to stay positive about everything working out in the end- I know that's what has helped me deal with it.
