I was always anti-WW.
...and then I joined, as a last resort. I saw a few people at work have great success on it, and I figured, what the hell.
I joined a little over a week ago and am down 7 lbs. I have a lot to go to be where I want to be.
I've been eating very well and working out, but WW is so easy! I know people on it who lost without ever going to the gym.
WW seems great because:
-it's easy -it really helps change your perspective on portion control and eating healthy -you can eat whatever you want, as long as you do it within your points -it works
I hope I keep it up.

Re: I was always anti-WW.
i was too because i dont want to have to be on it forever.
But I gave in and joined and so far i have lost 15lbs in about a month.
My hope is once I get to my goal wieght i will not have to follow it anymore and i will be able to maintain on my own.
I know what i did wrong (over ate and pregnacy) so i am hoping i can just do it.

Re: I was always anti-WW.
i feel its the best program out there. its not a diet, its a change of lifestyle. i still go to the meetings to get weighed in. maintaining the weight is hard work. i still follow the program. when i don't track i put some weight on

Re: I was always anti-WW.
I always felt the same way...the idea of counting points seemed SOOO tedious. But once I joined and started, its a lot easier than I imagined! I just made goal this past thursday, and I think its something I CAN do the rest of my life. It really has opened my eyes to portion sizes and nurtional information...and just experimenting with recipes to make them healthier!

Re: I was always anti-WW.
Awesome job!
I need to get back on track. After 3 vacations (Including on AI and one cruise) I have gained weight since the wedding and I am NOT happy.
I really LOVE WW. it's not a fad, it's really about healthy eating and learning portion control

Re: I was always anti-WW.
It really is the easiest thing I've done to lose weight. I have fallen off the WW wagon for the 3rd time and can't get myself back on.
The counting and portions just can't happen at this point of my life, so I've been trying to stick to Simply Filling. Still working on KNOWING when to stop.
GL on WW. It really is a great tool to get and stay healthy.
