gyms

i have a few questions. Use to go to Lucille Roberts in massapequa. Dont know if i wanna rejoin there. Looking for different options. DH just joined planet fitness he likes it but there are no classes. I would ideally like something with classes. I am doing kickboxing now, but it is pricey and i dont know if i wanna keep doing that. I like the option to do different things in the gym.sooo...


Which one do you go to?
What does it run?
Does it have classes?

If you are looking for different options and enjoy classes, check out Hot Yoga Massapequa!

They offer a beginner special of 10 days in a row of unlimited yoga for $20.00

This is a good time of year to go because it's not as crowded with newbies because the summer season is starting.

It looks pricey but if you enjoy it and do the unlimited package, it really works out to be the same as doing a daily coffee addiction.

I got to LA Fitness in Levittown
They do have classes.

I think we pay like $40 each a month? Not exactly sure, FH pays them.

I joined Synergy in Merrick. I've only taken the spin classes, sculpt, and cardio boot camp classes and the instructors are pretty awesome. (my trainer Kelly teaches the spin and sculpt class on Mondays)
Its not as big or nice a facility as LA Fitness but I needed something with child care and the area for the kids had too many structures for DD to fall off from (shes a climber). Honestly...if childcare wasn't a concern I would have joined LA Fitness

I go to World Wantagh. I really like it. They have a lot of classes, most times more than one at a time.

They are opening a brand new xsport fitness in the sunrise mall. Opens in a few weeks! Same one as in Roosevelt field. They have a lot of equipment, classes, spa, tanning, pool, etc.
