Fertility Kits vs. OPK kits: Are they the same?
Morning ladies!
Is there any difference between an OPK and a fertility kit? I was thinking of buying the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor and I noticed they sell them "used* on eBay. First of all, is this sanitary and secondly, would it be the same to buy a $15 OPK at Target?

I believe an OPK measures your ovulatory days...a Fertility Kit measures the number of eggs you may have and whether you're "fertile" or not...

THe CBEDF gets to know you and your cycle and will display 3bars and an egg around your ovulation time.
THe OPK also let you know when you are more fertile , in most cases you compare the test line to the second line and figure out when you are close to ovulation.
It's a matter of preference.
Some girls go to Dollar tree and buy stuff there(I am not familiar with this store as there is not one in my area)
As far as buying the monitor used, I am not sure I would want to do that :
because you are dealing with urine on a stick ( yes you seal the stick when you put it in the monitor but I don't know- maybe i am funny.
My friend bought her CBEDFM on the Costco website, they were marked down.

ETA- when you asked about a fertility kit- I thought it was opk's. I am sorry , I just gave you a LONG comparison of items you may not have been referring to

Ok, so the CBEFM is more specific than an OPK which kinda requires some interpetation and guesstimating (hate that word and I just used it)
