Re: Memorial day BBQ

This looks like a really good and traditional Memorial Day menu!

IF I were to tweak it at all, I would add some more 'light' foods. It's very carb heavy as it stands.

Maybe some Caprese skewers, a large green salad and some grilled veg would be good additions?

If you are looking to possibly save a few pennies, you could consider losing the steak - burgers, dogs and chicken offer lots of options. If you will have vegetarians you might also consider having some marinated Portabello caps handy.

Re: Memorial day BBQ

thanks!
We already have the steaks - got them super cheap from my husbands uncle who bought them wholsale from a butcher.

I am going to add more veggies and will do some tomato/mozzerlla type items.

Thanks for your input
