snap n go question?
i know i'm thinking way ahead but i was looking at a older post where pple posted what was on their registry and i noticed many pple had 1 snap n go listed and 1 double stroller (city mini or bumbleride twin, etc) listed.
my question is, how long did you use the snap n go before using your double stroller or if you used them both were there certain situations that made it easier to use one over the other?
do most double strollers allow you to attach 2 car seats to them? from what i've seen online it looks like only one car seat can be attached at a time.

Re: snap n go question?
I used my Snap n Go until the twins were too big for it. Then i just used the regular double stroller, but took them out of their car seats, so i never used the car seats with our regular stroller. I think the twins were about 9 or 10 months when we completely stopped using the snap n go. I did start putting them in the regular stroller at around 6 months. But that was only if we were going somewhere like an outdoor party at a friends house or the aquarium or something. other than that, it was always the snap n go because it was so easy and light.
Im not too sure about attaching 2 car seats to a regular double stroller. When i registered, i had already planned on using only the Snap n go for as long as i can and not really using the regular stroller.

Re: snap n go question?
my plan is to use the snap and go for AS LONG AS I CAN!!!!! It makes everything soooooo easy. They are almost 9 months old and 14 lbs each and I will be using it for months down the road. I also have a single snap and go for when I take out 1 baby. I also have a bumbleride indie twin. It only takes 1 car seat. I use the bumble ride on walks and all over my back yard now that it is nice out.

Re: snap n go question?
We used the snap and go strollers from when they came home from the NICU until just 2 weeks ago. They will be 11 months next week. They are very easy and light weight. I have triplets so we used a single and a double. The only reason we stopped using them is because my boys are now 20lbs and it was just too heavy for me to carry the infant carseats anymore. I am selling my double snap and go (Baby Trend brand) for $15 is you are interested. Its in great condition!

Re: snap n go question?
I used the snap and go until about 11 months. By then the baby in the back legs were sitting on top of the carseat in front of them.

Re: snap n go question?
My girls have always been tiny. I used the Snap N Go solely until about 11 months when they really just wanted to be able to sit, look around, self feed snacks, etc.

Same here! Now that the babies are in their double stroller, it takes so much longer to get them in and out of the car. I rarely do trips with more than one or two stops now. I miss the days of the snap and go!

Re: snap n go question?
My twins just turned 7 months. They are on the taller end for their age which makes it hard to use the snap & go, although we do. Whomever sits in the back will be squished if you think you will have tall babies. It surely is easier which is why I still use it. Especially if I am going somewhere when I know it's close to nap time.
Good Luck with your decision.

Re: snap n go question?
I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't really like the snap and go. I stopped using it around 6 months and probably could have used it until they were 12 months+. I just hated pushing that thing around, it felt like i was driving a train. I could never maneuver it anywhere. Maybe also the fact that my kids were never ones to stay asleep once the car stopped was part of it too.

Re: snap n go question?
thanks for all the responses ladies!
i ran into someone using a snap and go and i asked her about her experience as well and she loves it. She doesnt have multiples but it is her 2nd child and she said she bought the travel system with her first and even though she did like it she loves the snap and go alot better.
DH & I are both tall so maybe our babies will be on the tall side too....that would change how long we can use the snap and go but i still think we're leaning towards that option.
