Re: Baby Doppler Rental
I bought one when I was pregnant with DS. Its a sonoline B - I got it off of eBay for like 50 or 60 bucks. I started using it at like 13/14 weeks and it worked great!

Re: Baby Doppler Rental
I bought $60 one online. They aren't super accurate. I used it once a week on my off weeks but stopped as time went on. I know I'll use it later on when they are moving and I don't feel them much for some reason.

Nope. I have frequent sonos though. I'm not sure how I'd be if I didn't! Also little is a constant mover and shaker. I'm more relaxed I think because I'm always feeling her.

Re: Baby Doppler Rental
I just bought one.
I bought, what I thought, was a Sonoline-B.
Now, I thought it was odd that they sold for $200 at Walgreens online, but I could get one for $58 at http://www.clinicalguard.com/ (which I got to through Amazon )
When it came in the mail, I realized it was a knock-off from China. It looks the same, and on the back of the doppler itself it reads "Sonoline B". The box just says "Fetal Doppler" and the gel is a plain tube with a sticker half placed on it.
Needless to say, while I know there are dozens of women (if not more!) who use this same one frequently, I have been afraid!!
I guess my answer to your question is - if you are crazy to get one, so am I!?!
