going for a long road trip
DH and I are driving to Montana in august, and i am going to need something to do for that 28hr drive!
Now i am not a really big reader, just started to get into reading with in the last year. Not really sure what kind of books that i would wanna stick to. I have read all the 50 shades books and all the Emily Griffen books, and some other ones in between.
So i guess i'm just looking for some good books that you girls would recommend, for the new reader. Also i have to get hooked kinda right away or i loose interest.
Thanks for you help!

Hunger Games for sure.
I like Kristin Hannah as a quick but interesting read, and find she hooks you quickly.
Did you read The Help last year?

Run by Blake Crouch--very quick read, quickly had me hooked.

Re: going for a long road trip
If you weren't a big reader until recently, are you sure you can read in the car?
When I was a kid, I could read for HOURS in the car and it didn't phase me. Now I get really car sick. I would bring some other activities in case you find you can't read.
