Just joined and Question

Hello everyone.

I am new to this site and wanted to extend a hello.

I guess my question is, well, is there a good way to get STARTED to loose weight?

I need to loose about 10 pounds. I have cut out sugar drinks, and I am starting to walk.

Is there somewhere I can look to start eating healthy?

Hi there and welcome! I have found that using myfitnesspal.com has really helped me. I have the app on my phone and it really helps to keep me in check of what I am consuming on a daily basis and it has helped me so much with portion control.

As far as food, I have gotten a bunch of recipes off of skinnytaste that are incredible so definitely check there. I also try to eat pretty natural but I'm not overly strict with it. Cutting out sugary drinks and walking is a great start! Once you start getting more comfortable, you can combine the walking with weights and running or biking. I always switch up my routine because I get bored and lose interest easily so I like the variety of mixing in new things. Good luck!

Hi! Welcome!

I would suggest Weight Watchers. I lost 60lbs on WW and kept it off for four years. I plan on going back on after I have my baby. It taught me a lot of healthy habits.
