Do you put egg in your ziti??

I usually do but I am seeing so many recipes with out it.
Just wondering what others do.

I never used to but started to when I began cooking more seriously. It helps with the binding (but I usually use egg beaters instead to cut down on the calories).

Not in [baked] ziti. I do use egg(s) in stuffed shells and lasagna though.

no, not in ziti. Shells and lasagna so it binds and holds together better.

yes, mostly any baked pasta dish that I make with ricotta I add an egg.

If I make a baked pasta dish that uses ricotta, I almost always put an egg in it to help bind it.

Yep! Ziti, shells and lasagna all get eggs! I make a LOT at once, so ziti gets 3 eggs, lasagna and shells get 2.
