I have New Balance, but I recommend going to a running store and getting fitted.

I'm on day 2 and am happy with my Mizunos!

I was a NIKE pegasus user for 25+ years...if I switched it was bad news. Finally my last pair of Pegasus didn't work for me and I went to the running store. He recommended Mizunos b/c they are so similar to Pegasus, but have more arch support (which started hurting in the new Pegasus pair)

I'm really excited about them.

I am constantly looking at shoes at the starts of races - not sure why, but I notice mostly Brooks and New Balance. Newtons are showing up more and more, but you have to be careful about your running style with them (minimalist)

Running shoes

Asics...I use to be a Nike girl but I have been unhappy with their products the past couple of years. I do not really run any more but I agree with the pp's who say get fitting.

Get fitted. But I love Asics Gel Kayano. They are $$$ like $150 but worth every penny!

I just got fitted today at Runner's Edge in Farmingdale. They are great, and I am not a proud new owner of my first pair of Mizunos. Love!

Re: Running shoes

I have been happy with Reebok & Fila running sneakers lately. Also Adidas. I've had trouble in the past with other brands... but I think it's less the problem with the shoe & more of a foot issue on my part.

Re: Running shoes

I just a pair of Saucony. I wanted to get fitted but I was on a really tight budget- so I did the wet foot test then went to the store and tried on a bunch of pairs
