How hard is this going to be for my new kindergartener?

So, Cailen essentially is going to be in 4 places everyday.

7-8 am at a daycare attached to his school district for early morning drop off (7 am)

8-11:30 extended day kindergarten, and then bussed to his home school for PM kindergarten

11:30-2:30- kindergarten

2:30-4 aftercare (milk and cookies)

How hard will this be? Anyone have or had a similar schedule? Plus he will have swim lessons 2 evenings a week (he needs the lessons. He is still a poor swimmer and was upset about it this summer)

I feel he had such a calm preschool year and relaxing summer.

This is really going to be overwhelming...

DS will have a similar schedule (in terms of length) for kindergarten. We had a test run last week. He was increasingly tired throughout the week. By Friday afternoon at Pick up, he was half asleep. The teacher said it is pretty normal and it'll take time to adjust. We let him relax when we got home, then do some homework, then dinner and early to bed.
It is a tough transition from the preschool years to being a school kid.

I think in 2 weeks, he'll be going with the flow.

The extended K teachers are great!

My DS's biggest issue was eating lunch at 10am before getting on the bus to his home school. They have provided snack just a bit before that.
