anyone with gastritis and reflux?
Dyyyyying over here. Ever since c section and all the pain drugs my stomach is a mess. Tmi..... I was dxd with 14 ulcers after an endocospy over a year ago so went on omeprazole. All went well and felt better but now post partum I am in soooooo much pain. Gi doc is saying gastritis and doing omprazole again and carafate pills for last few days. My symptoms are constant gnawing and burning in stomach. Burping. And again tmi gas beyond belief in frequency and amount. If u have had gastritis what helped you? I realllly don't want do do another endoscopy if these drugs don't kick in soon. All I want to do is eat nonstop to temporarily stop the gnawing pain but even that relief is starting to wear off. Words of wisdom appreciated. Tia!!!

Congrats on the baby! Sorry you are suffering. If Omeprezole doesn't kick it you may want to try another med. Some reflux meds have different formulas. Also, are you still taking pre-natals? Vitamins always give me reflux.

Hi blu. I think we see same gi dr mirsky. She is trying different things over the last monrth but its carafate and omprazole for now bc my ins doesn't cover one med she wants to try. Stopped prenatals. At this point I welcome heartburn if only the stomach hell would go away!! Grr and ty. Baby is 4 months now. Its a trip and a half!! Xo

I am in the middle of treatment for HPylori. Bad bad bad gastritis. Went o the hospital one night thinking my stomach was gonna fall out. Couldn't even have the shower water hit my stomach it was so sensitive. Right in between my breast bone. It was swollen.
They did tests and found Hpylori bacteria. I'm on 1500 mg of Biaxin and 2 aciphex pills a day for 14 days.
Starting to feel better 1 week into the meds.
I hope you feel better soon

Could be worth an antibiotic. Sometimes that helps when all else fails and they don't want to do another endoscopy but if you have ulcers that won't help. It could hurt.
What does Dr. Mirsky say? I see Gould but she's great too.
