making chicken soup with leftover chicken in Crockpot?
I am making a whole chicken for dinner tomorrow in the crockpot. We usually have so much leftover, i was thinking of making chicken soup in the crockpot with the left overs. Can this be done and if so how? TIA!

Re: making chicken soup with leftover chicken in Crockpot?
I just did this tonight and it came out pretty good except for I had a heavy hand on the pepper. I put the carcass in the crockpot and covered with water. The last time I made home made chicken soup in the crockpot I used the whole raw chicken and it came out very bland so this time I added a few bullion cubes. I put in some salt, pepper, dill, 2 cloves of garlic and half an onion (chopped into large pieces). It came out really good despite the pepper. I didn't add any veggies because the last time I made the soup the chicken fell off the bone and it was hard to sift through the bones and the veggies but my mom said to add the veggies in a cheesecloth which I'll try next time. I guess because the chicken was cooked beforehand and I only used the carcass it didn't fall off the bone at all so I probably could have added veggies
