Roller Blades

What kind to get? My son just turned 7 and has roller skates and can do them pretty well. He wants to try roller blades. Do I get ones that one of the wheels moves to make them roller skates/roller blades?

I think that it may be worth it to head to a professional skating shop, where they can fit your son and explain the differences. I skated competitively as a child and the store where our coach required us to get skates is still around--Jesse Halpern Skate & Tennis in Great Neck. I do not really think that you will end up paying more than you would somewhere else & you will get an experienced opinion about how each type of skate works. Does your child skate outside or indoors? I want to get my son started.
