Modern day wheat
I know many of you have already heard about this, but thought I'd share for those who haven't.
Wheat is not good for you

Re: Modern day wheat
I know most people would consider my eating habits- "extreme" but honestly I feel bad that most people who think they are making heathy choices they aren't heathy at all
diet soda, fake low calorie food, wheat, fake sugars- I could go on and on- but I promised myself I wouldn't become a preachy vegan- but it's hard to know info like this and do nothing

Modern day wheat
Agree with all of the above and think it's disgusting that the FDA allows the things that theydo.
Another great book to read is "It Starts With Food"

Re: Modern day wheat
I feel like this is more about GMOs than about wheat. The doctor that they quoted said that the "new" wheat is genetically modified, while "old" wheat is ok.
And I also believe you can't blame the obesity epidemic on one thing. A healthy diet can include wheat products. But a diet filled with bread, twinkies, McDonalds, and fried chicken is going to lead to obesity and heart disease.

Re: Modern day wheat
Interesting to read and eye-opening. However, my gripe is that EVERYTHING is unhealthy, tampered with, etc these days. I will starve.
