Colonoscopy prep
I've had a few but what do you do (drink) to help you get through the clear liquids prep day?
I do wonton soup broth
Gatorade
Apple juice
white grape
green jello
ice pops
sucking candies
Needless to say I'm not looking forward to it.

Can u have egg whites? For my 2 colonoscopies I basically stayed in bed and whined the day before and drank the juices and ice pops. Gl!

Yes gingerale..forgot that one.
going shopping early Monday for the clears. I am working remotely that day and have some work being done in the house early and a few errands to run so hoping that will distract me a bit.
Hate this.

my doc at Cornell did that one and it was better but this doc does the Half Lytely. Blech. At least I can disolve in white grape or apple juice and not just water.
I'm really hungry already and my procedure is not until tomorrow at 12:15!

It took me two days to fully recover from anesthesia.
Found out they gave me versed and propofol.
I never got versed before. I really had some amnesia.
I used to refuse that drug before but didn't even think to ask. I'm never getting versed again.

I couldn't have any milk products or chocolate.
So I had lemon italian ices and lime jello.
Boy am I happy that's over with.

Gould and that reminds me to follow up for biopsy results.
I have crohns so that's a given. He found very little activity and there's no change in my meds. All bueno. I expect nothing but nothing with the procedural biopsy.
