How often are you guys contracting?

31 weeks and I do get them throughout the day, more at night. It's been this way for a while. I havnt felt concerned but wondering if I should be!!!

Randomly throughout the day and middle of the night but nothing close enough to count.

I just can't tell... as a first time mommy, I am so confused. Is a contraction when my belly looks pointy and sharp and they both "migrate" to the right? It is painful and my belly is hard? Or once in awhile I feel a tightening and pressure that goes away. Maybe once a day? I don't even know what they feel like anymore... soooooo confusing.

I know I have had a couple of BH before, but nothing serious. My back hurt with those.....

I get them more when I'm sitting in an unmfortable position. Sitting at my desk too long laying flat in bed. When I'm trying to get up from bed or the couch or out of the car. Sometimes it's tightening on the top of my belly where it's pointy and others it's tight around my belly button. The one time I had cramps with tightening i went to the hospital and they stopped them with a shot. They were so close together that by the time one ended another began so it was constant tightening. I think they present differently for everyone. My friend described hers as a box at the top of her belly. Another friend had pain in her hip. I just watch them and change positions. If they don't stop and I have more than 4 in an hr, they get worse or there is pain or cramps involved, I go to l&d. I've been there twice for them to stop them. First time were painless bh and the other time I had 5 within the first 20 mins I was on the monitors there so they had to stop them with the shot.

I guess I feel pretty much the same as you guys. With my first I had none until I went into labor at 39 weeks so this is very different for me. I definitely get them throughout the day here and there and more when i'm laying down at night. The pattern seems to be the same as it was two weeks ago so i'm not going to worry. I go to the obgyn Tuesday so I'll have to let them know. Thanks for the responses
