Spent Mother's Day in Labor and Delivery contracting... came home last night

ay. I was spotting a little. I went in just to get checked out because it was a Sunday and my doctor's office wasn't open. Turns out I was contracting and dehydrated. They had to give me something to stop contracting and they gave me a steroid for the baby just in case she comes early so her lungs could develop quicker. Also, my cervix is thinning out and a little above 2.5 which isn't good. I am going in for a test this afternoon to see if the baby is going to be here in the next two weeks or not. Also, they put me on bedrest. I'm hoping she doesn't come that early... I told her she's grounded in my uterus until I tell her she can come out! We'll see if she listens to me.

Im glad that baby is still in ur belly and u are home safe and sound.
I know how scary it is but I'm glad all worked out. Bed rest might get a bit boring but.. u gotta do what you gotta do

Thanks everyone :O) She's 4.4 lbs the doctor said and my cervix looks better than it did from yesterday's results. However, the baby is still leaning on my fluid and it's making the cervix dynamic, so we shall see. I'll hopefully find out the test results tonight for the pre-term labor or not.
