christmas gifts for 5 yr olds this year...
What toys are you looking to get your 5 yr old this year for Christmas. Is there a hot toy for 5 year olds this year?
So far the only thing she is asking for are those keva blocks at the LICM and friends legos.

DS big gift is a new bigger bike. He is also getting a transformer pillow pet that he wanted, some legos, a kreo bumblebee, lego creationary, transformers, books, and games for his leap pad and tag reader. I got Monopoly crazy cash for 1/2 off at Target.

christmas gifts for 5 yr olds this year...
American Girl doll stuff, found some cute things on clearance on their site. Lego friends maybe? (despise those little pieces), arts and crafts stuff, not sure what else! I said I wasn't going overboard this year (say that every year lol)

I just ordered her gifts this morning actually:
-Little Mommy doctor doll
-doodle bear with extra markers and stampers
-Barbie swim champion with dog
-pretend play school (I picked)
-pretend play cash register (I picked)
-M&D reusable sticker books, the doll house and dress up
-barbie case..it holds 15 dolls then a tray on top for accessories.
She also wants the walk with me doll and barbie closet that has all the the clothes. She didn't tell me until after I ordered so I have to go to the store.
I may also get her another american girl doll but not sure yet. She didn't ask for it but she really enjoys playing with the one we bought her last year.

I just ordered my DD the gymnastics Dora & the Crayola Digital Light Designer; some games for her leap pad & some outfits for her American Girl doll (& a kitten for the doll).

A new scooter. But i want to get him one of those really cool ones. He is also asking for Nintendo DS. We will see how that goes.

crafts- jewelry bead set, knot a quilt, make your own jewelry organizer
outfits for her Target American girl doll- bought at Michaels
DS:
walkie-talkies
remote control car
lego sets
rocket
And our plan is to get them an ipad (we don't have one in the house) or an ipad-mini as grades 4 and 5 in their school use ipads in the classroom.

Maybe a game for the Wii
I'd LOVE the "big gift" to be a swing set. Trying to convince DH on that one.
A bike (if not for Christmas, then, his bday, which is in Jan).

DS really wants the Imaginext Eagle Talon castle and the Ogre and Dragon that is sold separately but goes with the set. I think its a little babyish but if he asks Santa for it and not me, I have to get it.
He also wants the Space Angry Birds board game and Mouse Trap.
His birthday was in September and he got SO many Lego sets, I think we are taking a break from those for Christmas.
