Christmas presents for the 2 1/2 to 3 year olds
I thought I would start this thread and get some ideas from you moms who have kids in the same age group - my dd turns 3 in Feb. Maybe we could start other threads for other age groups - 0-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 etc etc.
Anyone done any shopping yet in this age group and what have you bought?

Train puzzle
crayons and all kinds of crafty stuff
table and chairs, new books and bedding from IL's
Train table, Little People Learn about town and hess truck and big wheel from my parents
from misc people that asked me for ideas....what else? oh! click start leap frog computer thingy

Sounds like your DS has the exact same interests as mine....cars, trucks, trains and tools! So very boy! Lol!! oh and George, don't forget George. I just wish they'd have new episodes more often.

I think I'm getting Ella a dollhouse as her big gift.
From others I know she's getting a FP digital camera, a dress up trunk and some painting supplies.
(she's 2.5 yrs old)

Ditto for Lauren! She got a huge wooden dollhouse with working elevator  , a toy digital camera, a Dora hoppity ball (or whatever that thing is called!), bunny slippers, arts and crafty things, and ugg-lilke boots.

So far I bought DS:
The memory game
A playdoh playset
I'm geting him:
A lot of cars (match box)
a sled (he wants this)
Diego Scooter
And that's it.

DS will be 3 the day after Christmas..
I got him for x-mas..
Kid Tough Camera
Fisher Price Easy Link Set and added on the Thomas and Bob the Builder keys
Lightning McQueen and Mater remote control cars
An art and paints set
A really cool sock monkey hat I found in the city
His dad is getting him..
Nintendo DS and some games
For his birthday, the next day I got him..
A ton of Thomas the Train stuff
trains, a Thomas musical snowglobe, a train caddy, a Thomas toy chest..
and some other small stuff
His dad is getting him..

So far for DD we are getting the Loving Family Grand Dollhouse Mega Set - it comes with a lot of the rooms included. They have it on sale this week at TRU for $125.
A small kitchen:
A piano
An Aquadoodle Mat
and I am thinking about getting this:
and some of the magnetic dress up doll sets from Melissa and Doug:
