my first sono.. update with sono#2
was yesterday.. omg, ive never been so nervous in my life!!!
i actually saw the doctor, if any of you are LI IVF patients you know what a rarity this is! to be completely honest, after my experience i would have rather seem my PA!
the sono began and the Dr. checked my ovaries first and then followed by lots of head tilting and "hmmm" "hmmm" "for some reason its very hazy".. "hmmmm" this is over the coarse of a few minutes but obviously it felt like FOREVER. finally i said, hello.. youre making me really nervous is something wrong?! but he just explained that my uterus was really high up and that he was having a hard time getting a good picture.
the sono was VERY hazy but there is one gestational sac and a yolk sac! i left feeling very uneasy even after the PA and nurse assured me that they were pleased with the sono and for 5 weeks thats all that they expected to see.
i guess i was just a little put off by his lack of bedside manner and making me feel very nervous!
we go back next wednesday for a repeat sono! 
update:
today was sono #2 and we are measuring 6w2d. we saw the heartbeat!!! it was the greatest thing ever! im surprised to say that the RE released me to my OBGYN already and we have an appointment in 2 weeks.

Glad the sono went well! I'm also a patient of LI-IVF. I had my 3rd beta this past Monday and was told that ALL doctors are at a conference next week so my 1st sono is scheduled for Mon 10/29. I'll be 6W5D. Sounds a little fishy now since you have one next week! LOL I'm trying to be patient to see my new LO!

Congrats on sono. Boo on bedside manner. 5 weeks all you should see is sac and Yolk. All good news. What's your edd?
