Same sex twins - Bedrooms

Do they sleep in the same room? Is the plan to keep them in the same room, till they start complaining:) or do you have plans to give them their own rooms regardless, if so at what age?

Re: Same sex twins - Bedrooms

I have them both in the same room-their room-from day 1. Their room is literally 5 feet away from mine though. During the day I have them nap in the same crib. At night I put them in their own. They move a lot and i was trying to help them work out day/night confusion.
We plan on moving before we convert to a toddler bed. At that point we hope to have enough bedrooms to give them their own.

We are going to keep them together for as long as possible. We could give then their own room, but not if we have any more children.

Yes, my boys sleep in the same room. They will always share a room cause we have #3 on the way. If we didn't, the plan was to still keep them in the same room until maybe they were teenagers and only asked to be separated but the 3rd bedroom is much smaller, so someone would've had to take that one.

I have b/g twins - they share a room and will until they chose not to. At times it can be annoying for me (when they try to play and cuase trouble instead of sleep) but they do love being together. I am thinking K or 1st grade will be the earliest to spearate.

The girls are sharing a room until further notice. Chat Icon At the moment we don't have another room to give them even if we wanted to separate them.

Re: Same sex twins - Bedrooms

my twin boys turned 2 in June. they have been in the same room since birth. we only have 3 bedrooms (we have another DS too) so i cant separate them just yet, but even when we do move, ill probably have them share a room until they are at least 10 or start complaining, which ever comes first. for the time being they seem so happy together. we put them to sleep in their own toddler beds and in the morning we find them cuddling together in one bed Chat Icon

Re: Same sex twins - Bedrooms

We have twin girls and they share a room. I don't see us separating them.

We also have a 5 year old and she is already petitioning us to let the three of them share the attic as one big bedroom - they like to be in the same room.
