Hi ladies! I haven't been on here in a few weeks. Hope everyone is doing ok and hanging in there.
I went back to the doctor yesterday to check on my ovarian cyst which would "most likely go away" and it got bigger! Apparently what i have is a corpus luteum, which occurs during pregnancy and releases progesterone and estrogen to support the pregnancy. After a miscarriage they usually go away but when they are as large as mine (12cm now) they may not go away. So now I have to have surgery to get it removed.
After googling this thing for hours I read that sometimes these cysts occur in women that have fertility issues trouble producing those hormones. Here I was thinking I was so fertile to get pregnant on the first try and hoping that woul happen again and the baby would stick! So I will have to wait and see I guess.
The doctor said my downtime could be a couple weeks if removed laproscopically.I want to get it removed ASAP so we can start trying again! But I don't think I can afford days off work and I have no more vacation or sick days!!
How is everyone else doing??

I'm sorry Alyssa. Are you seeing an RE now? I don't blame you for wanting to get rid of it ASAP. Would your job consider this FMLA? Maybe you can use that and take the time. Good luck!
I'm in the 2 week wait. Last week I went to the RE and they put me on progrestrone pills. my levels were a little low. I hope this doesn't mean I'm out this cycle. Why can't this process be easy!
Anyway, I'm thinking about you. Good luck with everything. Soon you'll be TTC!!!

I'm sorry to hear that Alyssa.
Just got off clomid and about to have my second iui sometime this week. I started acupuncture yesterday and liked it! Fingers crossed that it works this cycle.

good luck to you. i'm happy i started seeing an RE. i feel like they monitor me so closely. let me know if you need any recomendations.
